Some Bradford Street residents and businesses will be without water Thursday for most of the business day, according to a news release from the city.
The city’s Public Utilities Department is shutting off the water on Bradford Street from Jesse Jewell Parkway to High Street in order to complete water main improvements, the news release said.
The maintenance will affect approximately 11 businesses in the area, though not all front Bradford Street, according to Jarrett Nash, project manager for the department.
Affected residents and business owners should expect to be without water between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., but those hours are approximate.
In the release, the department urges its customers to take necessary precautions to prevent damage to equipment that requires water and to call the public utilities department with questions at 770-538-2407.
