Gainesville water customers who live on Avery Drive can expect a service interruption on Monday.

The Gainesville Public Utilities Department plans to complete water main improvements in the area of Avery Drive on Monday. Customers in the area can expect an interruption of service between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The utilities department urges customers to take necessary precautions to prevent damage to any equipment that requires water and to watch for construction crews while driving in the area.
