Ga. 11/U.S. 129 is scheduled for a face-lift Tuesday. Weather-permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation will re-stripe the road to change its northbound passing lane to a northbound left turn lane at Jesse Helton Road in North Hall County. The work is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Georgia DOT is encouraging drivers to slow down as the change takes effect.
