Graduates of the University of North Georgia earned their diplomas Saturday in a full day of ceremonies held at the Dahlonega campus. Ceremonies were held Saturday for graduates of the Dahlonega and Cumming campuses, along with separate commissioning ceremonies for members of the Corps of Cadets entering the armed forces as second lieutenants. In all, UNG granted 1,445 associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees on its four campuses, with some 1,000 graduates taking part in commencement exercises.
