Two people had moderate injuries Wednesday, April 24, after their car struck a power pole on Grove Street in Gainesville.

Gainesville firefighters responded around 1 p.m. Wednesday to the incident.

Both were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Georgia Power was working to replace the pole.
