Extension of the westbound left-turn lane on Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 at Green Hill Circle is now scheduled to start April 10 and finish up by the end of the month. The $81,028 project had been set to take place earlier this month, with the work finishing this week, but weather and utility work delayed construction, said Katie Strickland, district spokeswoman for the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project calls for adding 170 feet of car storage to the turn lane, she said.
