Why lane closures are planned at Browns Bridge Dec. 2-6

Single-lane closures are planned Dec. 2-6 on Browns Bridge Road/Ga. 347 at the Browns Bridge replacement project.

Weather permitting, closures are set for 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, so crews can pour concrete substructures for the new bridge.

The $27 million bridge replacement over Lake Lanier at the Hall-Forsyth County line is set for completion in April 2020.
