A traffic study involving Martin Road, a heavily residential area in South Hall, was approved Tuesday by area government officials. The road has come under scrutiny lately as residents have protested Georgia Department of Transportation plans to build an interchange connecting Martin on the east side of Interstate 985 to H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway on the west side. Residents spoke up again at a roads meeting Tuesday, saying they’re concerned about the amount of traffic that would flow on their road once the interchange is opened.
