Starting today, traffic will be shifted on Mundy Mill Road between Interstate 985 and Publix Supermarket. This will enable crews to finish repaving. The shift was previously scheduled for Tuesday.

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution while traveling through the construction site.

Signs, barrels, cones and barricades will be in place to alert motorists and direct them through the work zone.

Crews and equipment will be on site and safety should be everyone’s priority, DOT spokeswoman Teri Pope said in a statement.
