Three people were injured today in a boat fire on Lake Lanier near Buford Dam Park. Gwinnett County fire crews were called to the scene at 1:55 p.m. after a 911 caller reported "an explosion on an older wooden boat and that the occupants (had gotten) off the boat," said fire spokesman Lt. Colin S. Rhoden. One adult and two minors were treated and taken to area hospitals with injuries described as not life-threatening.
