Election season is heating up as Republican and Democratic candidates swing through Hall County in the next week. The Republican Women of Hall County will host a get-out-the-vote rally featuring Gov. Nathan Deal, U.S. Senate candidate David Perdue and Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green St. Meanwhile, the Politically Incorrect Club at the University of North Georgia will host Democrat David Vogel at noon Monday in room 3110B at the Nesbitt building on the Gainesville campus.
