The Hall County Republican Party’s convention will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the GOP headquarters, 715 Queen City Parkway in Gainesville. Members will elect officers for the 2015-17 term and also select delegates for the 9th Congressional District Convention, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. April 18 at the Jefferson Civic Center. Meanwhile, The Republicans’ state party convention will be held at 2 p.m. May 15 in Athens.
