The Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board is scheduled today to hear three requests to vary setback requirements and one request for annexation. Georgia Truss LLC has asked the city of Gainesville to annex more than 3.3 acres of land on the west side of Murphy Boulevard, south of its intersection with Browns Bridge Road. The company, which makes wood trusses, is also asking to vary a 75-foot-wide stream buffer for a proposed employee parking lot.
