Gainesville City Council will meet Thursday morning prior to a work session to vote on a contract for property and liability insurance coverage. Following the special called meeting, council will hold a work session to discuss, among other things, an alcoholic beverage license for Taqueria El Camarada on Cleveland Highway; a public safety grant for the city fire department; and a proposed all-way stop sign for the intersection of Club and East Lake drives. The City Council meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday in room 301 of the administration building, 300 Henry Ward Way.
