A Gainesville man was charged with using a gun with a filed-off identification number after a man was shot in the hand outside the J&J Foods on Jesse Jewell Parkway just before midnight Saturday. Cpl. Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville police said officers were called to the parking lot for a reported shooting. “The initial report indicates that two taxi drivers had gotten into an argument over the two-way radio, or had gotten into some type of argument,” Holbrook said.
