A Gainesville man accused of robbing a Jasper Waffle House was arrested by Gainesville Police Thursday.

William Timothy Myers, 29, was spotted on Shallowford Road in Gainesville and arrested. He was booked in to the Hall County Jail.

Myers was accused of leaving the restaurant early Saturday with more than $500, according to Jasper Police.

Gainesville Police said they were alerted to Myers’ location by the public.

“This is an example of numerous agencies and the public working together to make our streets safer,” Gainesville Police wrote on their Facebook page.
