Gainesville police have arrested a suspect in the Tuesday afternoon robbery of a medical uniform store on Enota Drive.

Sgt. Johnny Ray said Jonathan Forrester, 27, has been charged with one count of armed robbery. Ray said Forrester was arrested after he was pulled over this morning on White Sulphur Road while driving a car that fit the description of the car seen at the robbery.

At about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday a man entered The Scrub Shop in the 600 block of South Enota Drive, threatened an employee by saying he had a gun, and demanded money.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the business, reportedly fleeing in a red car. There were no injuries.

The robbery suspect was described as a white male wearing a black sweatshirt and cargo shorts.
