Almost 3.5 inches of rain was recorded Monday at the National Weather Service’s station at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville. Hall County Director of Public Works and Utilities Ken Rearden said one private driveway off J.M. Turk Road was undermined, and the county was working with the homeowner to see that the road was repaired. Rearden said there was also some isolated flooding.
