A South Hall strip shopping center got the Flowery Branch City Council’s first OK for annexation into the city Thursday. The council also gave its first approval to rezone the Pure Gas center at 6168 Gaines Ferry Road from Hall County suburban shopping to the Flowery Branch highway business. Final approval for both actions is set for May 18.
