The Georgia Republican Party and its chairman, John Padgett, filed their response Tuesday in the racial discrimination suit filed by a Gainesville woman. Qiana Keith, who formerly worked as Padgett’s executive assistant, filed a suit on July 9 in Atlanta, claiming co-workers used racial slurs and treated her differently because she is black. The response denies all allegations of racial discrimination made by Keith in her complaint.
