The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning said Friday it is investigating a complaint about a Buford day care center and a child getting loose. DECAL said it received a complaint Friday morning regarding Lanier Academy on Friendship Road. “It has to do with supervision, and that’s really all I can say at this point until we’re able to talk to some teachers and folks that were involved, but we are investigating,” DECAL’s Chief Communications Officer Reg Griffin said.
