Two people were injured Wednesday in a wreck involving at least two vehicles at Spout Springs Road and Interstate 985 in South Hall.A vehicle apparently left I-985 on the left side of the road and ended up striking a wall between the overpasses at Spout Springs, Flowery Branch Police Chief Gerald Lanich said. Two people from that vehicle were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville with minor injuries, the chief added.“We don’t know if the vehicles collided or not, but we think there were some near-mishaps that may have caused the car to leave the roadway,” Lanich said, adding that Flowery Branch police are still investigating. The accident, which took place about 4:15 p.m., didn’t impede traffic on Spout Springs but did cause a backup on I-985 at the Spout Springs exit.
