Traffic at the Spout Springs Road exit off of Interstate 985, or Exit 12, will be hampered overnight Monday and Tuesday, May 6-7.
The southbound exit ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday and the northbound entrance ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The closure will allow grinding of the ramps’ driving surface to be completed, the DOT said.
It is part of a larger project to improve the driving surface on I-985 from Interstate 85 to north of Exit 24/Jesse Jewell Parkway. The project also will call for replacement of reflectors in the roadway.
