The Special Olympics will be held Oct. 10-12 in Hall County, and volunteers are needed to assist with the events. Approximately 2,000 Special Olympics athletes and coaches will be in Hall County next weekend for the 2014 State Fall Games. Volunteers to help with scoring, crowd control and more are needed as the athletes compete in bocce, softball, cycling and golf at various locations, including North Hall Park, Laurel Park, Chicopee Woods Golf Course and Gainesville Middle School.
