Two overnight lane closures on Browns Bridge Road/Ga. 369 are planned starting the evening of Thursday, Aug. 23.
One will take place on Browns Bridge, as part of the $27 million replacement of the structure spanning the Chattahoochee River. It will start at 7 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
That work will involve concrete pouring for one of the caissons, or columns for the new bridge, which is set for completion in April 2020.
The other lane closure will take place as part of a 4.2-mile resurfacing project from the Forsyth County line to McEver Road, beginning at 8 p.m. and also ending at 6 a.m. Friday.
The $1.4 million project is set for completion Oct. 31.
