Two people are dead after a small experimental plane crashed Thursday night near Lake Lanier, Forsyth County authorities said. Forsyth County Fire Department Capt. Jason Shivers said a small aircraft crashed at about 7:45 p.m. on Lanier Drive, a residential area, in an unincorporated area of the county. Shivers said there were no injuries on the ground and no damage to structures.
