More than 100 people came out Friday to the Frances Meadows Aquatic Center in Gainesville for the Family Splash Bash, a fundraiser for the Gateway Domestic Violence Center. Gateway raised about $1,000 from the event, which will help fund programs and services that the center offers for free to domestic violence victims. Gateway offers victims of domestic violence transitional housing, a crisis hotline, support groups, legal assistance and more.
