Jack Frost’s elephant sculpture gift to Gainesville High School is located at the home field entrance of City Park Stadium.

A 5-ton marble elephant was installed at City Park Stadium on Thursday morning at the home team entrance where Gainesville High football players make their traditional “elephant walk.”

Jack Frost, a connoisseur of the arts and owner of Memorial Park Funeral Home, donated the marble elephant.

The elephant weighs 9,986 pounds and stands about 7 feet tall.
