The Griffin Police Department is investigating the April 6 shooting death of a 63-year-old Flowery Branch man. Harry Burkett was visiting his fiancee at the time of the incident, which took place in a home. The suspect “entered the residence and shot the victim ... and attempted to shoot another victim and then fled the scene,” states a police news release.
