GAINESVILLE — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Safe Kids Gainesville-Hall County and the Gainesville Police Department, has been recognized for working to reduce injuries and fatalities on rural Northeast Georgia roads.

The organizations were honored at a Traffic Safety planning meeting sponsored by the Northeast Georgia Rural Roads Initiative, which is funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
