Share your memories of the 1936 tornado

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the 1936 tornado that decimated downtown Gainesville.

The storm came in on Monday morning, April 6. It did extensive damage to the square and several residential areas and it killed more than 200.

The Times is planning special coverage of the anniversary and is looking for those with memories of that time, whether your own memories or stories you heard from parents or grandparents.
