Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch and two former deputies reached a settlement almost two years since the deputies’ terminations. Jack Dodd and Larry Henslee, deputies fired in July 2013 after an inmate escaped, were paid more than $60,000 in back pay and lost wages minus taxes and withholdings. “As opposed to seeking further review by the Georgia Court of Appeals, the parties have reached a settlement of all issues in the matter,” Couch said in a statement.
