Sen. Butch Miller was honored Wednesday by the Association County Commissioners of Georgia for his efforts this year to improve policy that affects county operations and infrastructure. Miller’s work on two bills in particular was noted in his selection to receive the 2014 Legislative Service Award. Miller was one of the sponsors of Senate Bill 297 and sponsored House Bill 310 in the Senate.
