Scattering of power outages reported after Saturday morning storm

Linemen from Georgia Power and Jackson EMC worked Saturday, June 22, to restore power to customers in Gainesville and the eastern and northern parts of Hall County after thunderstorms moved through in the early morning.

Georgia Power reported two outages in Gainesville impacting about 65 households and scattered outages in east and north parts of county.

Jackson EMC, meanwhile, reported that about 1,100 households lost power, primarily in Banks, Madison and Jackson counties, with a just a small scattering in Hall, Franklin, Gwinnett and Barrow counties.
