Oakwood Police confirmed Saturday that missing teen Samuel John Franklin was located Friday night by the Hall County Sheriff's Office at a relative's residence in Flowery Branch.

Oakwood Police Sgt. Danny Sridej reported Franklin was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hall County Department of Family and Children's Services office. He was said to be in good health.

Franklin, 15, ran away Thursday night from the Best Western Hotel on Mundy Mill Road, police said. He had been placed in foster care by Hall County DFCS.
