A second person has died after Tuesday’s single-vehicle wreck on Roy Parks Road near Talmo Road in East Hall County.

Trina Nycole Warren, 29, of Gainesville died shortly after being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, according to the Hall County coroner’s office.

Warren first was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, then later transferred to Grady. She died in surgery there, according to deputy coroner John Abernathy.

Zachery Lee Parker, 30, of Warthen was dead at the scene. The driver, Terri Lynn Harris, 35, of Gainesville was airlifted straight to Grady, and Abernathy said Wednesday afternoon that it appears she will recover.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. when a 1996 Chrysler Town & Country minivan left the road, struck a tree and overturned before coming to rest upright, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Four children riding in the vehicle were treated for minor injuries at the medical center and released. They were Michaela Harris, 8; Emma Green, 7; and Grady Alana Warren and Payton Harris, both 6. All are from Gainesville.

Abernathy said Warren and Harris were sisters and the children belonged to them.

The state patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
