Road tax would help Hall catch up after years of growth

Hall County’s project list in the upcoming transportation sales tax vote is all about catching up with years of rapid population growth. “All we’re trying to do is ... provide the existing population with ample infrastructure needs,” said Srikanth Yamala, the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization’s transportation planning manager, at a Thursday night public meeting on the July 31 sales tax vote. “That’s all these projects are providing.”
