A gas line break at Gaines Ferry and McEver roads in Flowery Branch forced authorities to shut down the intersection, including the entrance to Four Seasons subdivision. The intersection was closed until Hall County Sheriff’s Office “can get a gas maintenance crew to survey the damage, seal the leak and approve the scene for safety,” said Hall County Deputy Chad Mann, community service officer. Authorities reported at 3:30 p.m. the road is open.
