Riverside Military Academy’s JROTC squad has been recognized as best unit in a recent parade in Atlanta.

The squad was one of 50 high school JROTC groups participating in the Atlanta Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11. More than 40 Riverside JROTC students marched in the Veteran’s Day parade, which is considered the second-largest Veterans Day parade in the United States according to a Riverside Military Academy news release.

After the parade, Riverside Military Academy’s JROTC unit was named as the "Best Marching Unit" of the parade.
