The family of a 48-year-old man last seen more than a year ago in Gainesville has increased the reward for information to $7,500 from $5,000. Thomas E. Funk Jr.'s roommate on Oconee Circle awoke Oct. 2, 2011, and discovered that Funk was missing, but his vehicle and cellphone remained at the residence. Prior to his disappearance, Funk was treated at an emergency room for an injured foot caused by an accident at his home.
