Work on Elrod Road, between Thompson Bridge and Price roads in North Hall, will require single-lane closures starting Wednesday.

The culvert repair and construction work will continue for about one week, weather permitting.

The contractor said he will try to avoid closing the road between 2-2:30 p.m. to help with school traffic. Construction will take place near 5064 and 5065 Elrod Road.
