The American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia fed Gainesville and Hall County law enforcement employees lunch on Thursday.

Members from Gainesville and Hall County’s law enforcement agencies were greeted with a “Heroes Lunch” Thursday from the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia.

“Every day these men and women work to keep our communities safe and stable, a priority that the American Red Cross promotes,” the organization’s Executive Director Laura Allen said in a news release. “While lunch is a small token of our appreciation, our local Board of Directors wanted to recognize and thank them for their service and assistance.”

The Gainesville Fire Department, Hall County Fire Services, Gainesville Police and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office ate at the public safety complex on Queen City Parkway in Gainesville.
