Friday was an open practice day for The Wicked Weekend remote-controlled racing event at Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center in Gainesville to get drivers used to the track with qualifying beginning today and the final day of racing beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday. This year’s crowd of racers is expected to be larger than last year’s 350-racer event at the track on the 120-foot-by-240-foot arena footprint.
