A rabies alert has been issued for the Looper Circle area of North Hall County after a rabid raccoon came in contact with two dogs. The raccoon was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab, Virology Section in Decatur and Hall County was advised Wednesday that the raccoon was positive for rabies. This is the 14th confirmed case of 2014.
