Economics professor Joel Potter will discuss global financial issues as part of North Georgia College & State University’s Great Decisions lecture series, an annual discussion program produced by the Foreign Policy Association.

Potter’s presentation is set for 6:30-8:30 tonight at the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green St. and Wednesday at Hampton Park Library, 5345 Settingdown Road, in Forsyth County.

Participation is free and no registration is required for the Dahlonega college’s Great Decisions series, which began March 15 and ends April 21.

The series offers participants the opportunity to explore international issues with the university’s expert faculty members.

Each session will begin with a presentation by the faculty member, followed by a question-and-answer period.

Briefing books providing in-depth articles about each of the topics may be ordered online but are not required for participation.
