Police are searching for two Lawrenceville men suspected in a Gainesville shooting and robbery Wednesday night.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Ronta Antonio Garner, 33, and Shamarcus Deunte Grimes, 26, who are both believed to be armed and dangerous, according to a news release from the Gainesville Police Department.

Garner is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 181 pounds. He has numerous tattoos covering his face and body and is believed to be a member of the 243 Bloods Gang. Grimes is 5 feet 9 inches tall and 175 pounds.

Police have not identified the male victim, who was shot in the abdomen at Ridgecrest Apartments in the 1600 block of Roper Hill Road. Police say the suspects shot the victim and fled the area.

Garner and Grimes are wanted for aggravated battery, attempted robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a gun by a felon and possession of a gun during the commission of a crime.
