A Gainesville man was found hiding under a table inside a Gainesville pharmacy, police said.
Gainesville Police responded to an alarm 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic Pharmacy on Jesse Jewell Parkway.
“Upon the arrival of officers, they learned from cleaning staff that a Hispanic male was observed in the closed, secured pharmacy, hiding behind a counter,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook wrote in a news release.
Officers searched after establishing a perimeter around the pharmacy.
“Officers located Fabian Verduzco … inside the building hiding under a table,” Holbrook said.
Verduzco, 29, of Gainesville, was charged with second-degree burglary and criminal trespass.
He was booked in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
