A Gainesville woman was struck and killed by a Jeep Friday night near Limestone Parkway and Clarks Bridge Road, police said. Lola Ledford, 40, was identified as the woman killed by the southbound vehicle around 9:15 p.m. Friday. “She was in a vehicle,” Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said Monday.
