Peach State Bank & Trust has named Tony Herdener to its community development board.
Prior to his retirement in 2018, Herdener served as the chief financial officer of Northeast Georgia Health System, which he joined in 1995.
Herdener has a master’s degree in business administration and a CPA certificate from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash.
Herdener is an active member of the Gainesville Rotary Club and served as president in 2013-2014. He is a member of the Riverside Military Academy Board of Trustees, chairing its finance committee. He also has volunteered with several other nonprofits.
He and his wife, Cathy, have two married children and two granddaughters. He is an instrument rated pilot and enjoys golf, reading, the outdoors and being with friends and family.
