Two recent analyses of Georgia’s new education plan acknowledge both its potential benefits and possible shortcomings. The state submitted its plan to the U.S. Department of Education for approval earlier this fall. It is mandated as part of complying with the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015, the federal substitute for the No Child Left Behind Act.
